After we gave up on our beach trip because of the weather and one very grouchy baby, we decided to make the most of the rest of our vacation at home. We resolved to do something fun with Knox each day (Brody was happy just eating at home!).
Our first day back, we took Knox to a local bouncy place for the first time. At first, Knox didn’t really understand what to do, but after watching the other kids and getting reassurance from us, he soon got it! He was not a huge fan of the big slides which surprised us, but he really had a great time!
On day two, we went swimming at my mom and stepdad’s house. Knox loves the water and knows no fear! He jumps in, goes under water, goes under backwards, all with a huge smile on his face. He also discovered riding on a float is very relaxing!
The rest of the week we played outside, went to the toy store, then went to Knox’s buddy, Noah’s, birthday party at a gymnastics studio. Knox loved it!! We could not get him out of the foam pits-he was so happy to be buried at the very bottom! Brody had a great time being loved on by all the ladies. He is a total chick magnet.
All in all, I’d still say it was a really nice vacation!

We went to a birthday party at a gymnastics studio and it was seriously the BEST party I’ve ever been to. I’ve already decided we are having Presley’s next party at one. It’s almost more fun for the adults…so maybe I should just have my party there!
It seriously was! All of the adults were jumping on the trampolines and playing right along with the kids- so much fun!
Have you looked into a weighted vest for Knox? You said he loved being buried in the foam pit and in your last post that he loved being buried in the sand. I think he might like it.
