Life Lesson

If you try to steam carrots for baby food and clean the house at the same time, chances are, you’ll forget about the carrots.

The smell is just lovely in here right now.

I’m trying to cover it up with my “Sugar” Scentsy smell, but now it just smells like cotton candy and burnt carrots.

My day off has been oh-so-productive thus far. Now, I am off to get a much-needed hair cut. I am mildly terrified because I’m trying someone new and that nearly always proves to be disastrous. I am only doing it because I have a spa gift card, we’re on a budget and it makes good sense. Hopefully I don’t have to run back to my normal hair lady to fix it because that wouldn’t be good or very budget-friendly.

My friend swears by the Beaba BabyCook for just that reason … apparently it turns itself off and won’t burn anything. However, I priced them and watched for coupons for a loooong time. They’re expensive, and I never saw them on sale anywhere.

I know all about the smells of forgotten baby foods :) Good luck with your new hair cut, I’m sure it will look super cute.

Oh and I love the new look, I am trying to decide if I want to make the switch or not.

This is why I love my Beaba Baby Cook. The steam feature has saved many batches of baby food because I’m the same way. I’ll start a batch then wander off and forget about it, but the Beaba shuts off when the steam cycle is over. We got it as a gift and I had always thought that it was just a luxoury, but it’s really a great tool. A bit pricey, but worth it, especially if you are going to have more kiddos.

Yup, I’ve forgotten baby food once. I think it was apples. Horrible smell, I feel your pain.
