Whoops. Mommy Fail.

So… I kinda made some of Knox’s hair fall out. !! I was giving him a bath and used the scrubby hair brush they used in the NICU to try to banish some of his cradle cap flakes, and it apparently made his hair thinner. I feel horrible! Granted, he still has a head full, but now it’s way thicker in the back than it is on top. He’s like a tiny old man with a thinning mullet. Poor baby, his mommy sabotaged his cool do. I will definitely be exercising restraint from now on when I scrub his little head!

    He could just be loosing his newborn hair? I think it was loose to begin with. Your a great mommy.

    it happens to all of momma's…no harm done.

    Massage baby oil on his scalp first then use the soft baby brush(while the baby oil is still in his hair) and the flakes will lossen and fall right out….then wash his hair with baby shampoo

    Nick had awful cradle cap, we used this special shampoo for a month and it was gone… It smells great too! I bought it at BRU and it's online also… called Mustela.

    I did the same thing with that brush. He was born with so much hair that a week later half was gone. Poor baby. It will all grow back. :)

    November 2008- Four anovulatory cycles, starting Clomid. Blood work showed PCOS.

    December 2008- Clomid 50mg- O, but BFN

    January 2009- Clomid 50mg- no O, BFN

    February 2009- First monitored cycle- 100mg Clomid. O but BFN. First SA showed low morphology at 2%, but all other factors above normal.

    March 2009- Clomid 150mg, two dominant follicles at u/s, no o. BFN. HSG- 3/6/09 - All Clear!

    April 2009- RE #1 consultation on 4/2/09.
    Start 1500mg Metformin on 4/8.
    Second SA 4/29/09.
    Non-Medicated "Break Cycle" O on CD24. BFN.

    May 2009- Second SA: still 2% morphology, which RE#1 says is the problem. Recommends moving straight to IVF.
    Second opinion: RE#2 says IUI is a better option. First RE= Fired. Planning first Clomid IUI + HCG Trigger cycle in June!

    June 2, 2009- Nevermind that IUI! Biggest shock of our lives: BFP!
    EDD: 2/9/10

    August 24, 2009- It's a BOY! Knox Compton!

    January 16, 2010- Knox's Birthday! Born at 36 weeks and 4 days. 7lbs 5oz, 20.5 inches @ 7:08 a.m.
