Thinking of you and saying so many prayers. My heart goes out to you because I've been there - randomly contracting starting at 25 weeks and in the hospital for 15 days...then home. I'm not dilated but I'm almost 100% effaced and have been for 8 weeks. My cervix measures 1.5cm. So rest assured that this DOES NOT MEAN that Knox is coming yet! Ask the docs about magnesium sulfate via your IV. It doesn't make you feel very good, but it stopped my contractions in their tracks at the hospital...at least the big ones. I continue to have breakthrough uterine irritability to this day. I'm also on a terbutaline pump...you can ask them if that might allow you to go home. It will administer continuous meds via a pump in your thigh, and I think it works more effectively than the pills. I only have to be on it for 3 more weeks and I'm sure the same would be for you since Knox is the same gestational age as my little guy. Deep breaths...it's okay and remember this doesn't mean the end of your pregnancy - Knox could still stay put for weeks to come! Praying both our boys do.
